If you're lucky enough to find one of these buy it!! Same build quality as a Triton Fethead for 36.50$ will buy 3 more when they come back in stock. Don't get suckered in by the brand name prices, this device is solid!!!

This unit is much smaller and cheaper than the fethead and cloudlifter, while still offering the ability to turn 48v phantom power to 25dB of gain to help driving dynamics and ribbons. The black finish and small form factor makes it functioning and looking great in a mic-booster-XLR cable setup.
I am not able to do any scientific comparison among these mic activators, but the bottom line is, this CT1 has extremely low self noise already and the minor noise difference between different brands is irrelevant.
