This mouthpiece is the origin of the line and is the mouthpiece most preferred by Ian Bousfield, himself. It provides phenomenal clarity, flexibility over the entire range, with a very personal sound. Considered the ideal first trombone mouthpiece for any orchestra.
If you are used to playing something with a smaller rim, it may take a while to get used to. Give it a go, the width of the rim gives you warmth of sound, and amazing flexibility. whilst the shallowness of the cup brings a unique combination of; incredible high register with warmth of middle register.
