The wide array of colours and exotic perfumes of flowers serve as the inspiration for this new work, the third movement of Randall Standridge's "The Garden Suite." The lyrical melodies and careful attention to orchestration and range make this a colourful yet achievable work for young performers, while still providing musical substance for ensembles of any level. This movement stands on its own, or may be combined with Frogs, March of the Arachnids, and Bees to present a large scale work for young ensembles.
