A good recorder, however I find the low C hard to play because the pad is quite stiff. I was able to correct this to some extent by holding the key closed with a rubber band when the recorder is not being played.

I was looking for a wood tenor recorder, since I studied plastic Yamaha tenor for more than a year. Since I am a student, I think I am not ready for a heavy investment into orchestra quality instrument, but looking for a decent instrument resembling renaissance flauto dolce as close as possible. This tenor is fantastic sound wise, and low C is very easy to make with the key! I am able to play two octaves range with minimal adjustment of thumb position. G# sounds a bit odd, but with narrowing the thumb hole I was able to get a decent sound in both registers. The other notes sing very well! The only limitation of this tenor recorder is that there is no low C#, which is a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the price is just 20% of its European counterpart. I am very happy.
