I spent a lot of time and effort looking for the right independent bass trombone. I tried Conn (both), Getzen, Holton, Bach, Yamaha, the Jupiter 740RL and this, XO brass 1240RL. The only one that was up to the same level of quality, sound and play ability was the Yamaha. However the 1240RL was half the price, so no competition. I also have to put in a good word for the Canadian distributor and L&M. The both gave the most phenomenal service. Try it, love it then buy it form L&M - you will not go wrong.
