I picked this up to upgrade the chrome barrel saddles on my Squier guitar. First, if you are also looking at this with a Squier guitar, be prepared to bore the holes for the saddles a little bit bigger so the screws can fit through.
My only complaint about the product page itself is that it's listed as "compensated." Compensated, generally, means there are notches for strings to rest. You will find no such notches. These are smooth, barrel-style saddles.
Overall, they offer GREAT resonance and are a massive upgrade for stock saddles that you might find on your guitar.

Put them on my 1962 reissue telecaster ,and they gave me a deeper mellow sound,without any effects,add effects and you have a great country twang.
