From the rehearsal room to live performance, the DSL100H all-valve head is truly versatile. With its classic and ultra gain channels, it can take you from brilliant cleans to high-gain shred, and all places in-between. Its based on the massively popular JCM2000 DSL100H, and has the same valve complement four ECC83 in the preamp and four EL34 in the power stage and the same feature set.
There are however some significant upgrades: resonance control replaces the deep switch, allowing you more control of the lower-end chunk; studio quality digital reverb instead of spring; theres a rear panel pentode/triode switch which will drop power from 100 Watts to 50 Watts, and a rear panel series FX loop.
The flexibility of the shared five-way EQ section is increased further by a mid-shift button which scoops the mid frequencies, making it ideal for modern metal styles.
The DSL100H, with awesome tone and real flexibility, is incredible value for money.

I have to say there really is such a thing as 'that' Marshall sound. And this thing has it. An absolute Beast, and very simple to use. Takes my pedals very well and paired with a 212, it's a portable monster. Best Grand I ever spent.

I've been looking at this amp for quite a while now and ended up purchasing it on Black Friday elsewhere in London and it is such a phenomenal amp for the money. Got the head and cab for under $1000. I love the diversity of the amp going from shimmery warm cleans to some hot-rodded JCM800 crunch or even metal tones. It can basically do everything you need it to for a low price. You won't regret your purchase if you decide to purchase this fantastic amp.

I've owned a ton of Marshalls over the years and I had low expectations for this amp because of the price and it not being made in England, but it is an impressive amp. Absolutely roars with that Marshall sound and will go from vintage plexi to modern high gain metal with a nice simple interface. If you are on the fence about this amp don't even think about it and grab one.

Been watching this amp for awhile and all the reviews have been great so I decided to buy this Monster I mean it really is bigger then I though it would be. The true classic Marshall sound that's been the standard has just been Reborn. I love the sound of this amp it gets really muddy if you crank gain but also cleans up so bright. You run this through some vintage 30s and you have the classic rock sound. Great amp for the 70s 80s. This amp is so versatile a must have and price cant beat it. Thank you Marshall for the go to rock amp.

Im the lead guitarist in the Band "TRACENINE" Im always checking new tones amps....bla bla bla, Ive used Live and at home Mesa boogie, LINE 6 ,fender and Marshall, when the band started I used a JCM900 for years on tour wish Marshall had more gain, to make a long story short In L.A Hollywood Cal. TRACENINE was show casing our Album we had "backline" all i saw was a Marshall DSL I WAS LIKE "WTF" !!!!!! this is it I have to plug and play no effects no wah just straight into amp ( no tube screamer) we'll at this point looking at the time and time of the show I plugged in Dialed her up cranked the DSL and.............. holy smokes the amp was killer loved the tone covers all styles of music I was hooked. We flew back to Canada and I bought one its a "RED TOLEX" DSL JCM2000 love it 50W its enough for me, the only feature I would like to have is to able to switch the "effects loop " on and off (thats why I rated features an 8)other than that its the best Marshall for my needs. If your a MARSHALL fan try one out at L&M staff are amazing always willing to help. Cheers.

I bought this DSL100 head with a 1960A cab to replace a head and cab (by another manufacturer) i purchased that kept breaking down and was in for repairs for 9 months of the first year i owned it. And the guys at L&M PG Jason, Kirby and Darryl we awesome and bought the rig back from me and i realized i never should have strayed from Marshall amps. i played the DSL for all of 5 minutes in the store and that was enough for me to hear and feel the quality that went in to this über beast! i love this amp not tons of features has 2 channels ,clean/crunch and Ultra Gain Lead 1/2. but it's simplicity is what makes it shine. Has 2 dedicated reverbs the clean channel has an analog reverb and the lead channels use a digital reverb. the tone shift is subtle and doesn't over scoop the mids like you see in a lot of high gain amps now a days. it's like they took a JCM900 and gave it some modern features. Don't walk past these amps give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised. And at such an affordable price to have an all tube Marshall great starter amp or if you're looking for a reliable back up on the road cause the DSL100H can take a beating!

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
