This two-item set of .022 mfd Bumble Bee Capacitors look, perform and sound just like the original capacitors, which were used on late 50s Les Pauls and vintage SGs. Famous for their tone (and their stripes!), the Historic Spec Bumble Bee Capacitors are specially made for Gibson and can help you achieve that sweet, full tone our legendary instruments are famous for. Put a little sting in your guitar.

A good capacitor at retail $6-$12 and that's pricey for what they are. Check out the oil caps for great tone. Shame on you Gibson, this is flat out robbery.

These are no better than a regular capacitor out of any cheap guitar. Honestly all they are is aluminum foil and oiled paper in a hard ceramic case. Many illustrations and actual capacitor reviews all over the net and YouTube. Check willseasyguitar and watch his demonstration about capacitors. PLEASE do your research. They are no better than what you'll find in a 100 dollar guitar. I gave it a score of 2 for quality because they are capacitors that function, same reason I scored it 1 overall. Compared to any other capacitor they are no better. Just because they are Gibson don't make them good or the best. This does partially explain the high cost of their guitars though. Robbery. I dare anybody at this very fine music store to break one open and leave it out as a demonstration and example to customers of what they are buying. Don't believe me, break one open and justify the price that Gibson wants.
