The newly designed K99 are semi-open stereo headphones which combine excellent sound and optimum price/performance.
Self-adjusting headband, soft leatherette circumaural earpads, and low weight ensure pleasant fit. If you're listening to your MP3 player or using them for recording the K99 will give you an accurate play back for a great price.

I've had these for a couple years now, and they're my primary mixing headphones. For the price they're incredible quality. They're very comfortable and have great response. I do wish they had a replaceable cable though

Bought these for my home project studio. All round performer and great entry level headphones for the price. AKG products are always a MUST in the studio, and for this price you can't go wrong. Amazingly accurate for late night monitoring of mixes. Since my project studio has now gone the professional route, these headphones are still a staple in my studio and a go to reference playback source and 90% of people will be hearing your music through similar applications.

fits beautifully, light-weight but, they rattle with bass and don't deal good with with kick drums other than the lows, the meds. and highs are excellent
