Just purchased a replacement for my 9 year old one. Really can't complain, the spring lasted me 9 years. The spring tension seems to be fine and the material used under the bar doesn't seem to deform at all for me. Full contact on all strings. The soft part that goes against the back of the neck seems to be fine. After 9 years on the same guitar, I have no indentations at all. I like the ability of being able to grab it with one hand and move it to a different position without having to mess with a screw. Keep in mind it does have more tension than the 6 string capo.
