The PreSonus Music Creation Suite recording kit is a complete solution for classrooms, school labs, churches, and home studios! This special all-PreSonus system combines an AudioBox USB interface with Studio One Artist music-production software, Notion music-notation and composition software, the PS49 USB MIDI keyboard, HD3 monitoring headphones, an M7 large-diaphragm condenser microphone, a free Nimbit account, a powered USB hub, and all necessary cables and mounts.

AudioBox USB: simple, reliable, portable.

Perfect for desktop and mobile recording, the 2-channel AudioBox USB boasts high-performance Class A microphone preamplifiers, a headphone jack with level control, 48V phantom power, and professional-quality, 24-bit, 44.1/48 kHz converters. USB bus-powered, its compact, easy to use, ruggedly built, and designed to work perfectly with Studio One recording software but also works great with other audio software that supports ASIO or Core Audio.

We could have stopped right there, but its not our way to stop when we can give you even more for your money. So we included an internal analog mixer with zero-latency monitoring, enabling you to monitor recorded tracks and overdubs with no annoying delay time. We included a USB cable, too!

Studio One Artist 2 makes recording easy.

No other entry-level recording and production software is as easy to use as Studio One Artist 2, yet is capable of creating studio-quality output.

Studio One Artist 2 lets you work quickly and stay focused on your inspiration. Incredibly easy to learn, it offers unlimited tracks and plug-in instantiations and delivers features not normally found in entry-level DAWs.

Studio One automatically configures to the AudioBox USB interface and is compatible with any ASIO-, Windows Audio-, and Core Audio-compliant interface.

Access powerful editing tools without wading through menus. Load and save audio clips, MIDI files, effects, and VIs by drag-and-drop. Take advantage of multitrack comping, multitrack MIDI editing, and transient detection and editing with groove extraction. Enhance your music with 26 Native Effects 32-bit effects and virtual instrument plug-ins plus 10+ GB of third-party software, loops, and instruments.

Market and sell music via the integrated Nimbit upload and informational dashboard and your free Nimbit account. PreSonus Exchange technology enables users to share Web-based resources.

Score big-time with Notion music-notation and composition software.

Compose, play back, and edit music with ease! Notion makes it simple to write and edit your musical ideas quickly, then hear them played back with superb orchestral samples recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, as well as guitar samples by Neil Zaza, bass samples by Victor Wooten, and drum samples by Roy Futureman Wooten. You can even perform scores using Notion as a live instrument and save your performance.

Only Notion allows you to create a score on your Mac or Windows computer and transfer it to your iPad (Notion for iPad not included), where you can continue to edit and play back your music. Notion plays well with others: You can share files via MusicXML and use Notion as a ReWire host or slave.

Playing parts is a snap with the PS49 USB MIDI keyboard.

Studio One and Notion virtual instruments provide the sounds; the PS49 USB 2.0 49-key, unweighted, velocity-sensitive MIDI keyboard provides the actionand the controls. You get seven assignable controllers, including pitch and modulation wheels, a volume slider, and four control knobs, plus a sustain-pedal jack (pedal not included).

The PS49 auto-configures with Studio One, so no setup is required. Quickly tweak all plug-in parameters using Studio One's unique Control Link feature, control virtual instruments with no setup hassles, easily map volume automation, and more.
An Octave Shift button lets you transpose the keyboard up to +4 or -3 octaves. And of course you can send Program Change commands and change the MIDI Out channel. A USB cable is included.

Capture the subtle nuances with an M7 microphone.

Condenser mics are the overwhelming choice of recording studio professionals, due to the very small mass that must be moved by the in-coming sound wave. This means you can capture musical details, harmonics, and subtle nuances that would get lost with dynamic mics. From vocals to acoustic guitar recordings, youll hear the difference.

Large diaphragm microphones like the M7 tend to warm up a sound and are a great choice for recording vocals and for recording instruments when you want a deep sound.

The M7 can be phantom powered from the AudioBox USB interface and comes with a mic-stand adapter, nine-foot (three-meter) mic cable, desktop mic stand, and soft carry bag.

Hear every detail with HD3 studio monitoring headphones.

PreSonus HD3 headphones take advantage of a patented, semi-open sound chamber to deliver extended low frequencies. Lightweight and durable, they feature a comfortable design for extended use in class or at home and are adjustable to fit adults and children.

Easily Connect All of Your USB Devices.

Four USB 2.0 ports and a dedicated power supply help ensure that your USB devices receive the power required for optimal performance.

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
