When does my 12 months of Upgrades & Support start?
Sibelius 8 comes with 12 months of support and upgrades (Annual Upgrade Plan). Your Annual Upgrade Plan starts when you install/activate Sibelius.

Can I install Sibelius on more than 1 computer?
You recieve a 1 user license with Sibelius 8, however you can install Sibelius onto 2 computers/macs within the same household as long as they are not used simultaneously.

Is Sibelius 8 compatible with earlier versions of Sibelius?
Sibelius can open and save as Sibelius 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 7.5 files.

System Requirements:

Sibelius 8 is compatible with MAC and PC. Here are the recommended minimum requirements:

Windows: 32 or 64 bit Windows 7 (SP1 or later), Windows 8 (not Windows RT) or Windows 10, 1+ GB RAM, 750MB hard drive space, internet connection for digital download.

Mac: Mac OS X 10.6.7, 10.7, 10.8, or 10.9 or later, 1+ GB RAM, 750 MB hard disk space, internet connection for digital download.

Note: you will need an additional 36GB of hard drive space and 4+GB of RAM if you wish to install Sibelius Sounds Library (high quality sounds) which comes with Sibelius.
