Ever since trying a set of NB medium strings for the first time, I won't string any of my acoustic guitars with anything else. They literally bring out the best of each of my guitars.

Replaced the old strings on my Simon & Patrick Showcase Rosewood with these NBXL 12-53. I noticed an immediate improvement in playability with the nickel coating plus the upper harmonics have a sweetness that is unique. Stays in tune overnight and still does after a month of daily playing.
I usually use Thomastik-Infeld Spectrum on my Gibson J35. but will try these as replacements as the TI"s are quite steep in price.

I put these on a Yamaha FG720s and they are simply incredible. It is unbelievable how strings can change a guitar so much. I then put them on a Simon and Patrick folk and couldn't believe how much better it sounded as well. Try these, may be the best 12 bucks you ever spent.

I decided to give these a try on my Simon and Patrick Folk, as I found with regular Phosphor Bronze strings there was a dullness and lack of note definition at times, especially in low/open tunings when playing fingerstyle.
After putting the nickel bronze on, I have to say I'm blown away. My guitar just came alive!!! The tone took a minute to get used to but now I'm hooked. Notes are clear, rich, and balanced. Almost piano-like in how they ring out. They feel great under the fingers and there was a noticeable reduction to string noise too!
They're especially nice for fingerstyle playing and open tunings.
Also, after two weeks, they sound just as lively as ever. I suspect they'll have a much longer life due to the nickel plating.

I put these on my J35 and love them. Bright ,yet woody sound with great projection. At last my guitar sound like the one in my head.
