FBV 3 isn't your average foot controller. Thirteen steel footswitches - five with assignable color LEDs - help you easily keep track of active amps and effects. Dedicated footswitches for bank up/down make it fast and easy to scroll through your presets. A built-in expression pedal with a wah/volume toe switch gives you even more control of sweeping effects. A dedicated tap tempo footswitch enables you to quickly synchronize time-based effects like delay and echo. And a chromatic tuner keeps every note sounding great.

Its not obvious by the product description but the FBV 3 operates as a completely programable midi controller for your PC/Mac. It can send CC and MMC messages over usb. I use it for the Neural DSP Patrucci plug in to switch between amps and effects. You can set the switches to toggle, single, or momentary. You could just as easily program some switches to control your DAW transport at the same time. The light rings operate along with the switches as youd expect. It does require line 6 Control software to program but thats about it. The Wah/Volume pedal even functions properly switching back and forth between both. My only gripe is you cant customize the light colours, they are all red and you cant program names for patches but all in all its great.

I bought this to go along with my Spider V amp. Say goodbye to your old pedal board and those 9 volt batteries. This allows you to scroll and bank a ton of effects. It's heavy duty and built solid. Color rings around the switches to let you know what effects are on with the tone. Has a tuner built into it. Super easy to use. It did however take me a few minutes to figure out how you switch from volume to wah with the pedal. Turns out you have to press super hard on the toe of the pedal to switch it up. It's a great way to use your desired tones without having to fiddle with your amp all the time. No power cable, it just plugs in with and FBV cord into the back of my amp. It's great and worth checking out.

I had to order this board site unseen from l&m. It works fine. I found the quality to be very good. Gives lots of options while playing. I use to use my iPad to set my amp but this works much better when live. A few clicks and I can change the settings in a snap. The only thing to watch is the LCD will black out if playing in bright sunshine
