FITS THE WHOLE BAND
Portable - covering the needs of the whole band
Current technologies have made sound recording as easy as grabbing a pen and pouring your feelings on paper. So producing your own music has become the contemporary equivalent of writing poetry.

Unlike the solitude that writing requires, music creation is usually a shared experience. And a creative jam with friends will require at least eight channels, packed in a portable interface that could easily fit in a backpack. A simple two or four-channel audio interface is no longer enough.

UNBEATABLE AMOUNT OF I/O FOR A DEVICE OF THIS SIZE
Antelope is offering not just a portable Thunderbolt & USB audio interface, but a pro piece, easily covering the needs of a small band. Zen Tour comes with 4 switchable Mic/Line inputs and 4 more HiZ/Line ins. Two reamp outs and a Talkback button on the front panel put it in the spotlight of portable interfaces.

FORGET ABOUT LATENCY
Custom FPGA will allow you to create and stream multiple complex mixes and process audio with zero latency.
Zen Tour borrows the powerful Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) from Antelope Audio's top-selling pro studio devices.
This game-changing technology provides the interface with massive parallel processing capabilities, thus the lowest latency levels on the market.

ENHANCED CONNECTIVITY
Have tons of gear hooked in? Zen Tour has quite a few options. Some portable interfaces have to go for either a decent amount of I/O channels or high-end DSP effects.

Zen Tour gives you:
• 4 switchable Mic/Line
• 4 HiZ/Line ins
• 8 analog outs
• Digital I/O on ADAT & S/PDIF
• Two independent headphone amps
• Two separate pairs of monitor outs.

Plus, the FPGA powered Thunderbolt & the custom USB make the Zen Tour lightning fast and compatible with any DAW.

TOUCH & CONTROL
Rediscover your studio workflow with the advanced Zen Tour control options. All of Zen Tour's features are controllable via its high-resolution touch screen.

The portable audio interface can be also managed via the Antelope Audio Software Control Panel for OS X and Windows and via Android and iOS mobile apps for smartphones and tablets. So both the producer and the recording artists can control Zen Tour. Thanks to an innovative networking control concept, you can now access all Zen Tour features from multiple computers.

I bought this unit at L&M over three years ago and it's been rock solid. It was expensive but the build quality is reflected in the price, very well built and I've traveled with it a lot through the years often stuffed in a backpack. I'm a PC user and over USB I've never had any driver issues on either my desktop or laptop. I've just switched to thunderbolt now that AFX2DAW is out which took some trouble shooting but that mostly had to do with my unfamiliarity with thunderbolt on PC. The routing software took some time to get used to but after you do it's pretty straight forward. The touch screen isn't bad but it could be more percise, I suspect it's been updated on the newer model. I've owned Focusrite, Avid and now Antelope and the Anteople has been the most stable and reliable out of the three for me. My main gripe was it took a very very long time for them to release Afx2daw on windows, but it's out now and I'm looking forward to the increased functionality of my unit.

I have owned my Zen Tour for four year and am writing this review today after four years. Everything is complicated about Zen Tour from the control panel to the driver's setup. I just downloaded their new update (May 27, 2021) to start working on my new song and the new update uninstalled the old drive without installing a new drive. This is the fifth time in the last four years that this happened to me after downloading their new update. I had to cancel the entire session because when something goes wrong with this unit, there is no way you can fix it. You have to go through customer service. The customer service is responsive and helpful, but if you are a professional musician, you know what it means to lose one hour of recording. I am totally disappointed and frustrated and if I go back to four years ago, I will not buy Zen Tour. There are so many better alternatives in the market in this price range. If you are looking for a reliable interface, DO NOT BUY Antelop Zentour . It will fail you.

Got this piece of hardware last week. It sounds great but does seem to get very hot even if you don’t have it laying flat. Also the setup with windows and thunderbolt3 gets tricky it doesn’t recognize it through that port. You need to get a thunderbolt2 converter. The other USB option works perfectly fine though. The plugin for the zen tour has to be purchased separately it should come with the hardware. Last it doesn’t come with a travel case either.

This is a great little unit! Went back and forth between this and the Apollo Twin Mark 2 and ultimately decided on the Zen; I couldn't be happier. Fantastic clock and converters, tons of input options, easy to use interface. The plugins are stellar and the routing software is very easy to use in my opinion. This is a great portable interface to use on the road, at gigs, at practice but is also powerful enough (and sounds good enough) to be the centrepiece of your project studio. Lots of good things coming from Antelope lately.

I got the Zen tour 2 months ago and I can say only that the interface is great! Sounds great! Works on my new mac pro through usb-c and also works on my older desktop mac via regular USB. This unit is so flexible and has a lot of I/O. The built in effects sound great. Definitely a great purchase!

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
