Golden Melody - E Major
This product is no longer available.
The Hohner Golden Melody harmonica has an attractive 1950s look thanks to its rounded shape and closed-sided, full-length covers. An especially airtight harmonica with a strong, full-bodied sound, the Golden Melody is the only Hohner diatonic harp with equal-tempered tuning, which makes it especially suitable for melody playing. Curved cover plates extend the entire length of the Golden Melody harmonica, providing increased resonant capacity. With a comfortably curved shape, the Golden Melody harmonica's smooth, rounded corners fit nicely into the palms of your hands as you play.

Product Experience I own it

I have owned this harp for about 3 years, and have really enjoyed it. The sound is awesome and somewhat unique; full, rich and down right dirty - just what you want for playing Blues! Other musicians I jam with perk up when I pull this one out, and tell me they like the sound of it over my other harps. OK - got it? Its a great sounding harp. I love the red plastic comb, but dislike the tinny reed covers. I know better covers would drive the cost up, but then this thing would be near perfect, especially if Hohner made each key a different color plastic - easy to know which key your grabbing in a dark venue.
