So I had to write a review based on the really bad reviews I've seen for this. It is a very raw and nasty fuzz pedal....if you use it like most pedals. With fuzz I generally have my guitar's volume at 10 and just give'er. With this pedal though, I found it absolutely amazing when I rolled the volume off to about 7 and went from there. Great sound, still articulate and sustain for days. Now the double edge of this pedal is...it's a cheap and affordable pedal but it works best on good gear, not cheap stuff. I play it on a Marshall JCM2000 with a Gibson and it kills. I use my Epiphone with stock pickups....good but ya know....It's ok but not awesome. So while the pedal is of great value, the kids with the expensive gear will benefit most.

I've owned this pedal for roughly six months, and even though I didn't bond with it immediately, spending time dialing it in with my setup has yielded some great '60s inspired tones. I love fuzz of all types and in my opinion, the Rusty Fuzz fits into the slightly zippery, vintage velcro style of fuzz. This probably isn't the pedal not for those seeking more of traditional "Big Muff" sound, but if you're wanting something a little less high gain without sacrificing girth, this might be the one for you.

I just bought this fuzz to see how it goes and just a super high pitch fuzz. Didn't sound full and heavy just high pitch.
