Aggressive tones, legendary looks. The Flying V is a rock and blues icon played by legendary artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Lonnie Mack, Dave Davies and others, with a radical design that was way ahead of its time when first released in 1958. The Flying V 2017 T captures every nuance of the original styling, and delivers tones that match its iconic and aggressive looks thanks to a pair of roaring Dirty Fingers humbuckers, which are among the most powerful pickups Gibson has ever produced. While it is widely used in heavy rock and metal, the Flying V 2017 T is much more than that, too. Its super-fast neck, effortless upper-fret access, comfortable shape, and natural sustain also making it perfect for a broad range of other styles, from jazz to blues, grunge to prog-rock. The guitar comes protected in a Gibson hardshell case with a premium leather strap, a Gibson multi-tool, and a polishing cloth.

I bought this guitar a couple of months ago and can't put it down. It has taken over from my Fender Strat that I've had for 30 years as my favourite. It is lightweight, easy to play and endless amounts of tone. Not to mention this particular colour combo is great. Black Dirty Fingers pickups with chrome hardware. I think it looks better than the HP version.

If you want the sound of old school Metallica, then this is the guitar for you, I have been playing it for over a year and a half now and it sounds great. It can get a little uncomfortable while playing and sitting, but who gets a badass V and sits down with it. If you are comfortable while playing and standing, then this is an absolute beast and I'm sure it will satisfy all your needs. Great quality for this price.
