For years I didn't bother with a harmonizer... it was just one more thing to take and set up at gigs. Well, that changed a couple of years ago when I picked up one of these second hand for a reasonable price. I've used it on every solo and duo gig since. It's as simple to use as can be and works very well, offering one or two harmonies to whatever melody you're singing based on the guitar parts you're playing. And the harmonies are almost invariably the ones you want. Very cool. The reverb choices are good and not too intrusive. The 'Tone' button can be a big help if you have limited options for shaping your voice, with a good vocal compressor and a pleasant EQ curve... it's a soundman at the press of a button. Be careful when setting up your sound, though, in regards to the mic gain... there's a knob for that. I set mine to be the same output volume as when the pedal is removed. Overall, if you want to add a bit of richness to a solo performance or if the musicians in your band can't sing (and most can't), this is a useful and welcome device.

Have only tried in store so take this review with a grain of salt but it does a pretty good job for the price tag. Works well using a keyboard for chord inputs. Even picked up sus chords, but dont expect much if you are playing anything too complex like sharp 9s b13s etc. Also better to have a keyboard for the vocal harmonies you want and play off another one unless you are just holding long whole note chords, it will probably get confused if you are playing melodies and complex patterns. VERY simple to use tho, which is what I am looking for. Harmony choices seem to be 1 or 2 note, combos of anything from 2 down to 2 up from what you are singing. Plug it in, sing and play the chord. No guessing from a mic, no setting a key before hand plug and play. Harmonies seemed a little over autotuned for my liking but in the mix I'm sure it would sound fine. Control over the autotune would have been a nice feature. Plan on renting this and possibly buying it if I cant find another as simple to use as this one. Will update my review after I have some more experience with it but after trying 3 other pedals this one would be my choice
