I found the action a bit high on this, so I sanded down the saddle quite a bit. However, my biggest issue with this ukulele is the rattling of the plastic rings on the headstock side of the tuning pins. For whatever reason, Kala decided not to fix them to the headstock itself, so they move freely on the pins and vibrate and rattle as you play.

I love this ukulele! It has a beautiful, rich sound, good tuning pegs, and it looks great. The action isn't too high and the overall ukulele is definitely worth it for the price.
