Picked this guitar up a few months ago in Hamilton from the used rack for 600 bucks. This is a very good guitar. It may be a stripped down version of a Gibson Les Paul but it plays like butter and the 490 and 491 pick ups give it a vintage sound reminiscent of a 1960's guitar. For the price and the fact that this is a great guitar made in the USA by Gibson, do yourself a favour and try it you will like how it plays and how it sounds and feels.

I was skeptical at first about this guitar with all the problems Gibson was dealing with lately. At first the intonation was off and I had to tune sharp to get it to sound in tune. I thought there was a problem with the tuners or something. I was going to take into L&M to have it repaired. But I thought I'll first try heavier strings to make sure. I imagine the strings it came with were probably 42-9 or 46-10 gauge I switched to Ernie Ball Power Slinky's 48-11 Gauge. WAY BETTER, And the intonation is way better and it stays in tune. I am loving this guitar more and more playing it. And is my go to axe. I may buy the Worn Bourbon 2018 Les Paul model once it goes on sale. The gig bag it came with is stunning as well. This is a good first Gibson for players once you get heavier strings.
