Pretty loud. You can play it outside if you turn the volume up. It has 3 dials, volume, tone, and overdrive. about a month before losing battery if used for about 30 min a day. It's a good amp to put in your room if you have thin walls. Overall, it's an incredible amp for the price.

The first one lasted about one year and then one day it simply stopped working properly. I then purchased another one to replace the first and this one lasted 2 years. Inused them to practice softly while sittingnon the couch, i never cranked them. I don’ t imagine I will be buying a 3 rd one. If I were you, I would pick a different manufacturer as these clearly don’t last very long.

Sounds good when plugging into a nice quality headphone. It gets you more fuller bass tone. Speaker sound is ok - we know we don't expect much from it. Danelectro web site does not have much info about this little amp. And the handle is NOT leather, it is 100% plastic. This info should be changed in the product description - all other sources have this same incorrect info unfortunately - not the fault of L & M.

This little box actually puts out 10 watts RMS from a 9-volt battery, or adaptor. It also has many different effects and a headphone jack. Get one!

This small amp packs a punch. It runs off a square battery or if you want to spend a little bit more, you can buy the adapter that sticks into the wall to make it an electric amplifier!

The battery door, which works with a clamp to push the battery in, broke when I dropped it (made of hard plastic). So now the amp won't work, even if you try to tape it shut. :(

Yes, the tone is sweet once you dial it in. Very good for the price. You won't melt anyone's face off playing metal with this bad boy, but I personally love banging out the power chords while channeling Johnny Ramone. I bought it so I could strap it to my belt and jump around the living room with headphones on, but the speaker also has enough volume to compete with my voice while I shout out a hair band anthem. Bob Dylan went electric at Newport, and now I'm going electric at the campfire.

Just purchased the Honeytone mini amp for my 7 year old son. It is super tiny buy packs a punch. Retro look if fun. Just wish it came with a power cord.

I can get raunchy rock *and* smooth blues out of this. Perfect for my cigar box guitars and easily moving it from the workshop to wherever else in the house I'm playing.

It is alright, I will give it credit that it's good for someone who is not sure if they really want to play guitar. But for someone who knows they really want a good amp to help them work on skills, I would recommend a marshal micro amp stack. One thing that none of the other micro amplifiers can do is noise, this thing is really loud, for it's size.

Great little amp. Far better than any of the other major brand micro amps that cost twice the price.

I got a white one. Sounds great for the price. You can control buttons to get the sound that you want. However, knobs are slippery with the body so light - hard to rotate knobs - so I put a rubber around each button > viola! Headphones are a delight!

I wasn't looking for one, but I'd seen it listed online, and they had one. For the price I thought it be great little amp for my son, as I'd recently bought him a Fender Squire to begin with. When we got home and tried it out, I was pleasantly surprised at the volume it had, as well, as the variable settings. With only three controls, it contains a great selection of sounds. I highly recommend it for home or travel play. You can't beat it, especially for the price.

For what it is, and what it claims to be, this is a terrific little amp for taking along with you. It is loud, can get tones from smooth to crunchy and you can take it along on your belt. Nice sound from a plastic case. I was uncertain at first, but after playing through it for a while I was sold. As I said, for what it is it's a terrific portable option. Nice little amplifier!

I use this with my Traveler guitar. It has a decent variety of tones and respectable volume. I've gotten over 6 hours of play on a Duracell 9 volt.

yes, I have had battery amps from Pignose to piggy to various in between, including custom built for a bass. (used to play on the street lots) I am picky and compared it to the other brand's and there was no comparison in tonal quality.... at all ! Don't waste money on the mini stacks or mini brand names... they look cute but sound horrible in comparison. .... the worst! I don't know how Danelectro got such a warm sound out of a plastic housing but they did! I did not compare it's power consumption to the others, I went strictly for sound quality. I use an adapter with mine and save battery money/or recharging. the headphone jack is good to have if ever you wanna rock and not disturb others.

This is a great, tiny tone machine. Vol., gain and tone controls give a wide range of sounds. 2 inch speaker is solid and loud. Belt clip is a great accessory. Listen to one of these before you judge!
