Description
1956 fut une année de transition pour la Strat®, avec l'introduction de corps en aulne plutôt qu'en frêne sur les modèles Sunburst et custom-color. En novembre de cette année-là, un dos de manche en "V" souple est apparu, parfois légèrement décentré - un profil que Fender a recréé pour cette version - et l'arbre à cordes rectangulaire en "aile" a remplacé le type de disque. Dans l'ensemble, la Strat 1956 est devenue un classique très recherché, et maintenant Fender l'a dotée de plusieurs accessoires adaptés aux joueurs pour un meilleur confort et des capacités tonales améliorées.
La finition laquée Relic du corps en deux parties en aulne donne l'aspect et la sensation d'une guitare bien aimée qui a connu d'innombrables étapes. Le manche en érable teinté scié sur quartier joue rapidement, avec une touche confortable de 9,5" de rayon et 21 frettes hautes et étroites. Le trio de micros simples bobinés à la main Fat '50s comprend un micro central à bobinage inversé et à polarité inversée pour réduire les ronflements. Le câblage Fat '50s crée une tonalité plus forte avec un bloom plus transparent, réduisant la perte d'aigus lors de la réduction du volume, notamment en câblant le potard de tonalité à la sortie du potard de volume. Parmi les autres caractéristiques, citons le matériel Closet Classic, le commutateur à cinq positions, le trémolo synchronisé Custom Shop vintage, les mécaniques de style vintage, le sillet en os et l'arbre à cordes en aile. 1956 was a transitional year for the Strat®, with the introduction of alder bodies rather than ash on Sunburst and custom-color models. In November of that year, a soft "V" neck back shape appeared that was sometimes slightly off center- a profile Fender recreated for this version- and the rectangular "wing" string tree replaced the disc type. Overall, the 1956 Strat became a highly sought-after classic, and now Fender has given it several updated player-friendly appointments for comfort and improved tonal capabilities.
The two-piece alder body's Relic lacquer finish gives the look and feel of a well-loved guitar that's seen countless stages. The rift-sawn tinted maple neck plays fast, with a comfortable 9.5"-radius fingerboard and 21 narrow tall frets. The trio of Hand-Wound Fat '50s single-coil pickups includes a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup to reduce hum. Fat '50s wiring creates stronger tone with more transparent bloom, reducing treble loss when rolling back volume- achieved in part by wiring the tone pot to the output of the volume pot. Other features include Closet Classic hardware, five-way switch, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
