Don attended the Toronto Guitar Institute and the Humber College music program. From Metal to Jazz, Don makes music theory fun and easy to understand so it can be applied to any style. Don has performed with several noted Canadian performers. His playing can be heard on internet radio and broadcast radio around the world.

Kevin Bolger is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program. Kevin began playing Guitar in his early teens, and soon after grew an interest in Jazz. Over the years, Kevin has studied with a wide variety of musicians such as; Rob Bulger, Tony Zorzi, Joey Goldstein, Nathan Hiltz, Trevor Giancola, Lorne Lofsky, Ted Quinlan, Denis Chang, Kirk MacDonald and many more. While at Humber, Kevin had the opportunity to play alongside vocalist Emilie-Claire Barlow and have his own music featured on Jazz FM’s Jazzology. Kevin has shared the stage with vocalist Teresa Doyle as part of the TD Always on Stage Jazz Festival, in PEI. In addition to writing music for his quartet known as the Kevin Bolger Organ Quartet, Kevin continues to perform around the GTA.

Krista Small graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Music. She earned her grade nine piano, and grade three harmony and history, R.C.M. For the past several years, she has worked as a school music and math teacher, and band director. Krista is a compassionate teacher who is known for her ability to connect well with students of all ages.

Mark is a ‘jack of all trades’ - multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and educator. Mark is a versatile guitarist who has been releasing and performing music as a solo artist and as a band leader of a progressive metal band. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Mark is passionate about teaching his students to discover the joy of music. His pedagogy consists of learning & analyzing popular repertoire, building strong technique fundamentals and developing students' musical vocabulary.

Matt has been playing piano since he was 6 and has completed 8 levels of Royal Conservatory (both practical and theory). He has been a semi-finalist in the international songwriting competition for two of his original songs. Outgoing and enthusiastic, Matt enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students.

Penelope Walcott is a graduate of the University of York (UK) and the University of
Toronto, with degrees in music composition and theory, as well as a PhD in music composition; she has also completed her grade 10 Royal Conservatory piano performance level. A dedicated and empathetic
teacher with over 10 years' experience working with students of various ages and
levels. She has successfully taught and mentored students with their RCM exams,
concerts and auditions. She greatly enjoys working with students to help them create
success in their music studies!

Rebecca Foss has her degree in Music Performance and a graduate degree in Film Scoring and Composition. She specializes in music theory, romantic and contemporary repertoire, and loves writing sheet music for each student's favourite songs that are tailored to their playing level. Rebecca teaches with a fun and compassionate approach to students aged 6 to 86. When not teaching, she can be seen composing for indie short films and video games.

ryan claxton (Drums)

Ryan is an energetic and creative drum educator that has spent over a decade perfecting his craft. Having studied with the likes of Aaron Edgar, Stephane Chamberland, and others, Ryan has developed a strong pedagogical approach from his time under the tutelage of world class musicians. As a touring musician and session player, he has gained great insight into what it takes to work in a professional band setting, and has picked up many great practice and performance tips along the way. It’s Ryan’s goal to inspire and motivate his students to want to meet and exceed their potential as a drummers, while having the most fun possible in the process!

suneal pal (Guitar, Ukulele)

Suneal Pal graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with an Honors B.A. in Guitar Performance. He achieved first class honors in grade nine R.C.M. Since graduation, he has performed widely to rave reviews, recorded several CDs, and taught students of all ages and abilities. Suneal plays Acoustic, Classical, Electric, Rock, and Finger-style guitar and is also well-versed in Flamenco, Latin, and Jazz rhythms. He is a highly-skilled performer and well-respected teacher with over 20 years of experience.

sydney clarke (Voice)

Sydney Clarke currently holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Manitoba’s Desautel Faculty of Music where she studied under Tracy Dahl (CM). In addition, she has a Bachelor Degree of Music from Thompson Rivers University in association with the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music (GGS) in Toronto. Most recently, Sydney performed the role of PHOEBE in Dry Cold Productions’ A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, but has performed in theatres and operas all over Canada. Sydney is a winner of the 2020 Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg’s McLellan Competition. She has also won first place in the 2020 Manitoba Registered Music Teacher’s Association Scholarship Competition.
