Premium 8-Input 2-Bus Mixer with XENYX Mic Preamps and British EQs
Premium Analog Mixers from BEHRINGER

With close to one million units sold, the UB mixer series has become one of the most popular mixer series of all times that has no doubt connected musicians all over the world. Our new XENYX mixers will take you to an even higher plane.

The XENYX 802 has 8 inputs and a FX Send control for each channel. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility.

The new XENYX Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps.
Our neo-classic British EQ brings back the warmth and musicality of those 60s and 70s mega-console desks that made music history.

Not great mic pres, but for line level or even hi-z it works fine. I've recorded tons with it, mostly synths, drum machines, stuff like that. I use it mainly to run my monitors and sub with my soundcard running into the line inputs. It has been on almost continuously since I bought it almost 10 years ago with no issues. I wouldn't take it on tour necessarily as the build quality isn't the best, but for the price it can't be beat.

I've had a similar experience to many people on here... Bought it in 2010 and it worked fine. The other day I took it off the shelf where it sat for a few years and channel two is dead. You get what you pay for, although it still is a great deal. Hopefully Behringer makes their products better nowadays.

Not a bad little machine. The effects distort easily and I wouldn't recommend using them. Had this for only a few months, then I took it on tour and it died 15 mins before I was supposed to go on stage! Not impressed.

This was my first mixer, and it didn't disappoint...for a little bit. It has quite a lot of features for such an incredible price, and it's great that it has phantom power. However, one of my mic jacks gave out after a while, and it does feel like if I dropped it I might be in trouble. However, the knobs are responsive and feel wonderful despite a build quality I'm not a fan of. There tactile bump you feel once a knob reaches the center is nice. Another issue I have had is that it can sometimes have a noisy output depending on what instruments I'm using for it. It sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but I do really think this is amazing for budding home musicians who are looking for a mixer on a budget. I still use this for live gigs and when I'm jamming with friends because it is so portable and full of features. A great starting point!

Sounds not too bad for the money and works nicely until it decides to crap out on you. No wonder Behringer gets a bad rap. They gotta focus more on quality control. If they did that, this would be a great little mixer, cost effective, doesn't take up too much desk space, has more than enough inputs for the small home studio. You don't need more than this unless you're doing something major. But not much use if it craps out...so, I'm switching over to a Yamaha MG 10/2C. Just a few dollars more, but I've never heard of Yamaha crapping out after only a few months. So, Goodbye (made in China...slave labour) Behringer.

The mixer is a great little mixer for personal use. It's got a great sound (I'm using behringer ms16 speakers) and the phantom power switch is a awesome touch! Overall, I give this mixer a 10 outa 10!!!

Bought it about 18 months ago and tonight channel 1 decided to go on the fritz. Really too bad because it was working so well for my needs. Now tomorrow I have to run to Town (114 km) and buy another one. If it fritzes on one channel (1 or 2), I'll cannibalize one machine for the new = 6 years @$140 -- not bad! (Hoping) Not really sure what happened???

Bought this in 2011. Very useful and works well for its intended purpose. Turned it on yesterday to discover that the headphone output no longer works and the volume meter LEDs are no longer lighting up in response to audio signals. Seriously, WTF? For the amount of time that I've had this and considering that I don't use it that often, this is totally unacceptable. The sad thing is that it's a great price and does exactly what I need. But for it to just stop working like this is bullshit. Sadly, I'll probably replace it with the same unit anyway, just because it's inexpensive and perfect for my needs. If you buy this product, be sure to register it online, which will extend the warranty to 3 years. I didn't and now the mixer isn't working properly. It's a shame really, because other than that, I thought that it was a really smart purchase.

Just enough inputs to set up instruments and the like for quick demos and recording. Another interesting thing is, you can use it as a square wave sound generator if you plug in several cables to inputs and outputs and mess with the knobs.
