RECTIFIER 2x12 CABINETS are larger sounding than most other 4x12 cabinets producing a thundering low end response and a tailored midrange character. This is our most popular cabinet, at this point an icon in heavy music and is the one used on more hit recordings than we could list here. HUGE Sounding! Available with slant or straight fronts. The Straight cabinet has a straight speaker baffle.

I love this guitar cab. Everything about it just screams perfection.
It is just as thunderous as a 4x12 Mesa. I know this because I have both.
Best part is the big sound that’s easier to transport. I had recently sold my 2x12 Mesa after owning it for over 10 years. So I could try other cabs.
The end result after a year of cabs. Is that I’m back home with the Mesa 2x12 oversized.
Made so well. Sounds so good. Using it with my orange pedal baby 100 and helix LT. Absolutely crushing.
If you want a massive sounding 2x12. This cab is it!

Such a tight mean can with the Badlander 50. Little but easier to move around in at smaller than 4x12 size, but still INCREDIBLE tone!!! If you don't have room for the 4x12...grab one of these awesome 2x12 Rectifier cabs!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

This has been one of my most rewarding purchases. I needed a cab for myself and for live gigs, but also a cab that would be versatile in my studio. I do find new V30's to be abit harsh in the high mids, but after they break in they sound killer(especially in this cab) And these are made in England V30's which is cool! So why do I love this cab? The low end response is really good and NEVER gets flubby or farty. I'll be honest, I bought an Orange Jim Root 2x12 which I liked for it's size and portability, but I took it back after a week for the Mesa because it was so flubby out of control in the low end. The midrange is very balanced with abit of abit of a spike in the high mids but nothing over the top, but that's sort of why hard rock and metal guys like these is for the focused but 4x12 sounding low end and accentuted high mids because it cuts through the mix and projects well onstage. And the highs are so sweet. It's bright in a very natural way without being harsh or brittle. Part of it is that the V30 is a bright speaker but Mesa use a patented grill that filters some of the high end in a musical way! Love it. The wheels are super handy and slide on and lock in place and slide off with the press of a button. The amp comes with a nice cover and quality control card. I got mine new and it was packed super well and came mint without a scratch, you could tell Mesa puts care into details and QC. I'll just end on saying this is a veratile cab that let's your amp sound like your amp and would be versatile in any genre. It's an amazing design made with super high quality Birch and asthetics! This is a win all around, and the one con is not even a con in my eyes. It's that the amp doesn't have handles on the side, but that's how it's designed and part of the reason it sounds as good as it does! 11/10!

Built very well. Looks good. Not a fan of V30s myself (too scooped) but they're a good choice to give a 212 some more depth. Comes with a cover which is much appreciated. I match this with a Mesa TC-50, though my EVH 212 is a better match for my Soldado and Marshalls. Heavier than most 212s, but absolutely easier to transport than a 412. Don't expect it to sound like a 412; you're trading some fullness, depth, and projection for convenience but not much. It's a good compromise. Price is too steep for what you get IMO.

Great, great cab but I went with the Orange for a little more low end / bass for my liking.

Bought this cabinet to use with an EVH 15 watt LBX sounds great at any volume with very impressive bottom end. Top of the line unit and HUGE sound not at all unlike a 412 cab thump Had the EVH 212 cab previously and it doesn't come close

What a great cabinet. I initially started with a Traynor 2x12 with Greenbacks and while it was a great match with my Transatlantic 30 I was getting a rattle from the cabinet. I'm kind of happy I had an issue with the Traynor cabinet as I ended up picking up the Rectifier 2x12. To get the simple stuff out of the way, casters are great, solid, heavy duty, and easily removable. Also there is a parallel out on the back of the cab to connect a 2nd 2x12 (which you will probably want to do). This cabinet is amazing, I would almost compare the sound to a 4x12 but with a tighter response. I really look to be able to feel the bass when chunking away, I want to hear things in the room rattle, this is something I have only found possible with open back designs in 2x12's?not with this cabinet though. The cabinet is loaded with Vintage 30's which I personally really like; however, I think that a 2nd cab loaded with Greenbacks or 1 Greenback and 1 V30 in each cabinet would be interesting, maybe I will try it one day.

That's what I love about L&M. I walk in looking for an Orange PPC212 cab and I walk out with the Rectifier 2x12. The Celestrion Vintage 30's in the cabinet mate perfectly with the Marshall DSL100H head to produce those beautiful even harmonics in clean, crunch and overdrive modes. Solidly built and the easily removable casters maker it really functional. It would be nice to have recessed handles but the top carry handle works just fine for portability. A selectable impedance option would have been nice (other than 8 ohms) but, other than that an excellent option to a cumbersome 4X12 cab.

Wow!!! I finally got the rectifier 2x12 cab. I am blown away by how good it sounds. Tight crisp definition singing soaring and noticeably louder than my old Hughes and Kettner 4x12. Those old cabs only have 35w speakers and have noticeable speaker distortion with heavily distorted playing. I really did not understand the difference the right speakers make! Now the real power of my Mark V is unleashed. I didn't realize I was wasting it before.

Running a Vetta II through this cab. With the heads limitless variables, this cab delivers top notch sound whether clean, mean, and all in between. Purchasing another to run in stereo. CAN'T WAIT!

Tight, focused, smooth, balanced, full, beautiful, solid, harmonically rich and resonant, screaming crunch if you want but never flabby. 8 ohms, so you can add another cabinet to stack or run in stereo mode with real separation. Pleasure to listen to. The speakers/amp is the other half of the instrument. I run Marshall, Mesa Boogie and Fender Supersonic heads thru this cabinet. It delivers the sound of the telecaster or Stratocaster amazingly well. Don't miss combo amps with this setup. No wonder it is used on so many recordings and stages. Price is fine for this level of quality.

I picked up one of these about 6 months ago and was very impressed. I'm running my guitar through a Laney TF800 head at 100w designed for 4 ohm load. Since this cab is 8 ohms and has no option to change that, I rated the Features at only 8, but over all amazing 10+. Also, I borrowed a second dual recto cab just to try my amp head with both connected in parallel, which brought the load impedance down to 4 ohms and gave me 4 devastating Celestion Vintage 30's in 2 separate cabs. After about 5 minutes of playing I decided I needed another one, so i prompttly returned the borrowed one and bought a second cab.

Great cabinet. So good I have two. Much more portable than it's 412 version and a lot better dynamics.

Built like a tank..Big open deep sounds. I plug my Trans Atlantic 100 watt head into this and what a combo it its...I use the G-System and a Gretsch 6120 and its the sound I have been searching for many years.. Big open deep sounding el34 sound. I put this system together for the clean Brit sound, nails it like no other. Very impressed... I have had this system for 3 months and have yet gone to the dirty side of the amp...maybe one day..

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
