Description
The Poly Evolver is a 4-voice hybrid analog/digital synthesizer known for its complex and versatile sound, which combines classic analog warmth with digital grit through its four oscillators (two analog, two digital) and Curtis analog low-pass filters per voice. It features a hands-on interface with numerous knobs and switches for real-time control, a stereo signal path for wide stereo imaging, independent effects per voice, and two 16x4 step sequencers. Designed by Dave Smith, it is celebrated for its deep programming capabilities, though its complexity can be challenging for beginners.
