Bryan has been playing piano for as long as he can remember. He holds a degree in Jazz Performance from Humber College in Toronto and has been teaching and tutoring since the age of 15. He has spent several years playing on cruise ships; as part of Top 40 cover bands, as a music manager and director, and as a solo pianist. He has recorded 3 EPs of original music, and has played on many sessions for various projects. Bryan is excited to join the Long and McQuade team and share his passion for music with his students. His rate is $29 per half hour.

Emmett graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction, majoring in music. He specializes in teaching classical and contemporary piano as well as composition and theory. While Emmett enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels, he particularly enjoys helping advanced piano students to hone their skills. His rate is $29 per half hour.

John has a BMus in Composition from UBC, and a MMus in Scoring for TV, Video, Games, and Film from Berklee College of Music. He has been playing piano for over 21 years and has taught piano, composition and theory since 2014. When he's not teaching at Long & McQuade, John directs a choir, plays keyboard in an alternative band, and works as a film composer and orchestrator. Fluent in a variety of styles from jazz to classical, John enjoys the process of meeting people on their musical journey, and guiding them on their way to their goals. John's rate is $28 per half hour.
