Welcome to Metro Moncton's largest music lesson center with two locations for your convenience. Our primary location is at 245 Carson drive in the Trinity area. We are proud to offer 20 well equipped lesson studios and Moncton's finest faculty of independent music teachers. Our second location for music lessons is in the newly renovated Arts and Culture centre, a state of the art facility located in the heart of downtown Dieppe. If you've ever aspired to learn a musical instrument, this is the place for you! Whether you want to take guitar lessons, piano lessons, or perhaps always wanted to sing, whatever your choice, our music teachers are here to help you on your journey. Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (Major in Music) from Mount Allison University where he took classes on Theory, History, Composition, Analysis, Arranging, Methods and Teaching. He began taking drum lessons at the age of 12 and then took bass and guitar shortly after. He began teaching in 2015 and has been teaching drums, guitar, bass, ukulele, song writing and production techniques all over the maritimes. Ben plays rock, metal, acoustic, fusion and electronica and acts as composer and producer for various musical projects. Ben loves discussing writing techniques, production and advanced music theory concepts. His rates are $23 per half hour session.

Daniel earned his degree in percussion from Université de Moncton in 2007. He was a member of the university's percussion ensemble under the direction of Michel Deschênes. He is bilingual and has been teaching music since 2009. His rate is $23 per half-hour private lesson.

John has been teaching drums since 2005. He teaches a variety of styles including pop, rock, metal, country, and beginner jazz. Jon has been playing drums professionally for the last 15 years. He was the drummer for the heavy rock band Iron Giant. The band went on to received an ECMA for their performances. He was also the drummer for Mistreater along with taking part in many tribute bands for Black Sabbath, Elvis Presley (Thane Dunn), and The Cadillac Kings. Jon has a great passion for teaching children and adults alike. He likes to work hard and focus on theory but also concentrates on making learning fun. His rate is $25 per half-hour private lesson.

Pascal has been teaching drums since 2001. He has formed his own band (Shades of Sorrow) in which he is drummer, writer, arranger and producer. Pascal teaches many different styles, including rock, hard rock, pop and heavy metal (double bass drumming). He also has a good knowledge of jazz, funk and country. Pascal studied at the Conservatory of Classical Music of Quebec and with many private teachers in Quebec and Montreal. His rates are $24 per half hour private lesson.

Serge earned his degree in classical saxophone performance from the Université of Moncton in 2007. Having taught students since his third year at the university, he has also been playing with various groups and tackling all styles, notably The Moncton Mingus Band, which specializes in jazz improvisation. He practices cabaret-style singing while accompanying himself on the piano. His rates are 24$ per half hour private lesson and 17.25$ per student for a half hour semi-private lesson.
Our Group Lessons:
Join our summer Rock Camp! Students gain skill in rhythm and lead guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals. Rock Camp 2024 will be from 10am-3pm, Monday-Friday, from July 15 - July 26. The final performance will be July 26 at 6:30pm at the Dieppe Arts & Culture Centre. This camp is for students ages 9 and up. Inquire with the lessons staff at [email protected] or 506-857-1987.
Experience the thrill of rehearsing and performing in a Rock Band! Students gain skills in rhythm and lead guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keyboards and vocals under the guidance of experienced instructors. Popular and contemporary rock standards are rehearsed while you learn about lighting techniques, sound and stage set up. A performance at the end of each session is a showcase of young talent. Start dates per band are determined based on interest.
Long & McQuade Moncton’s weekly music and movement class for toddlers! This class introduces music concepts using a structured play-based approach. Students will interact with music through listening, dancing, and playing instruments to develop basic musical skills. This class is for children ages 2-5 years old. The class will be on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am, and starts on April 17 until May 29.
