Private Lessons

Welcome to Dartmouth's largest music lesson centre located at 124 Main street, Dartmouth. We offer 15 spacious studios in house and our very own recital room. Our studios are equipped with state of the art keyboards and acoustic upright pianos as well as a Yamaha Concert Grand. We offer lessons in violin, viola, cello, all woodwind and brass, all styles piano, guitar (electric and acoustic), banjo, ukulele, bodhran, percussion and drumset. We also offer many classes such as; recording and electronic music production, string ensembles, musical theatre and even step dancing! Call us at 902-496-6966 and we can get you set up!

Adam LeBlanc - Violin/Fiddle, Viola, Cello, Step Dance music lessons in Dartmouth

Adam LeBlanc (Violin/Fiddle, Viola, Cello, Step Dance)

Adam has been playing the violin for over a decade and has taken lessons with distinguished fiddlers Samantha Robichaud and Stacey Read. He has also had several years of classical training with Monique Girouard. He has competed several times at the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship in Ottawa, ON. He has competed in several competitions in the Maritime Provinces, and has won the 19-59 class at the Maritime Fiddle Festival. 
While completing his studies at Mount Allison University (B.Sc. Hon. Chemistry), Adam played with the Mount Allison Chamber Orchestra. He has also taken several music theory and aural skills classes. On top of playing the violin, Adam is also familiar with both the viola and cello. 
Adam's rate for a half-hour private lesson is $24.00.

Susan Sharpe - Violin music lessons in Dartmouth

Susan Sharpe (Violin)

Susan Sharpe began playing through the Halifax schools’ strings program. She has played in the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra and Mount Allison String Ensemble, and continues to play orchestral music with the Halifax Music Co-op. Susan enjoys playing a wide range of music, from classical to fiddle to music from movies and video games. Always on the lookout for more opportunities to play in a group, her favorite musical experience is playing in big orchestras. With experience teaching in musical and academic settings, Susan has taught all ages from young children to adults. She enjoys introducing students to the violin, helping them reach the next level in their playing and seeing them succeed.
