Ben Long - Guitar, Bass, Ukelele music lessons in North Bay

Ben Long (Guitar, Bass, Ukelele)

Ben teaches pop, rock and blues guitar to students of all ages, with a strong theory foundation. He currently performs in a local pop/rock group. In addition to teaching for more than 12 years, Ben has a background in recording and engineering. His rate is $19 per ½ hour lesson.

Catherine Trenker - Piano, Theory music lessons in North Bay

Catherine Trenker (Piano, Theory)

Catherine has been an instructor for over 25 years in central Ontario and North Bay, specializing in elementary piano pedagogy. She has completed all theory and history certificates at the A.R.C.T. (Associate Diploma in Piano Performance) level for the Royal Conservatory of Music . She is also an affiliate member f of O.R.M.T.A. (Ontario Registered Teacher’s Association). Her rate is $19 per ½ hour lesson.

Daniel Rayney - Guitar, Ukulele music lessons in North Bay

Daniel Rayney (Guitar, Ukulele)

Daniel teaches students of all ages, in multiple genres including Rock, Blues, Country and Classical guitar technique. He is dedicated to each individual student’s musical development and focuses on theory, technique and performance. Daniel studied at Wilfred Laurier University under Terry McKenna in a Bachelor of Music program for guitar performance. He is a highly proficient performer and has been teaching privately for more than 15 years. Daniel’s rate is $19 per ½ hour lesson.

Graham Finlay - Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet music lessons in North Bay

Graham Finlay (Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet)

Graham has an Honours Bachelor of Music Education from Wilfrid Laurier University and teaches for the Near North school board. He performs with 22 Wing Band and the North Bay Symphony. He is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and has performed with ensembles, festivals and Jazz bands in Ontario and internationally. Graham teaches all ages with an individual approach to lessons. His rate is $20 per ½ hour lesson.

Jean-Claude On - Piano music lessons in North Bay

Jean-Claude has completed his Grade 9 RCM for Piano with Grade 3 harmony & history. He has more than 6 years of experience teaching private piano lessons in Brampton. Currently an occasional teacher with Near North District School Board, specializing in teaching high school math & physics. His rate is $20 per ½ hour lesson.

Jen Ede - Piano, Voice music lessons in North Bay

Jen Ede (Piano, Voice)

Jen has a Bachelor of Education: Specialist Music Intermediate and Senior Divisions, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Music Teachable – Voice). She has completed her Grade 8 RCM for Piano. Jen is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Association. She teaches students of all ages with an individual approach to lessons. With focus on technique and theory, sight reading and ear training, Jen will take each student to the next level of their musical journey. Her rate is $23 per ½ hour lesson.

Mike Phillips - Violin music lessons in North Bay

Mike Phillips (Violin)

Mike brings 35 years of teaching experience to each of his students lessons. Beginning when he was 3, Mike understands the students needs at all stages of learning, and students of all ages. He is an active member of the North Bay Symphony, and has been a performing member of the Sudbury Symphony, and the Peel Musical Theatre Group. Mike has achieved the Violin Grade 8 certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Mike's rate is $20 per ½ hour lesson.
