Born in Poland, Alina Kazmierczak showed early musical talent and was chosen to study to become a professional classical musician. She started playing classical (Spanish) guitar at the age of 7 and piano at the age of 10. After 12 years of musical education, she obtained a Professional Musician Diploma in Classical Guitar and Piano with high honours. She continued her higher musical education at St. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk where she received a Masters of Arts Degree with specialization in Classical Guitar Performance as well as a Teacher Diploma. Since moving to Canada, she has continued to perform and to teach classical guitar and piano for almost 30 years. Her students get high grades in the Royal Conservatory of Music Exams as well as in RCM Music Rudiments Exams. In 2019, she received the Teacher of the Year Award from Kollari Institute of Music.

Alina is an ORMTA member and an RCM Certified Piano teacher. Besides playing and teaching piano and classical guitar, she spent nine years conducting, directing, and accompanying the Ignacy Paderewski Choir in the National Capital as well as on tours. In 1997, the Canadian Senate recognized her work with the Ignacy Paderewski Choir as promoting and preserving Polish culture in the Canadian spirit of multiculturalism.

Canadian/Hungarian lyric mezzo soprano, Dr. Andrea Kovago is a sought-after lyric mezzo-soprano across Canada and the United States, having been a been a featured soloist with organizations like the Société philharmonique de Montréal, Choeur Sorel-Tracy, the Stewart Hall Singers, Choeur symphonique de Sherbrooke, and the Exultate Chamber Choir and Orchestra. She has performed steadily in the areas of opera, oratorio, chamber music, among others.
Andrea is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Royal Conservatory of Music, Ontario Music Teachers Association, Gloucester Music Teachers Association and Conservatory Canada.
Her teaching experiences span more than 25 years which includes work at Dalhousie University, The University of Minnesota, Anoka Ramsey Community College, University of Calgary and the University of Lethbridge Music Conservatory. Andrea’s students excel at recitals, RCM exams, Kiwanis Festivals and the Ottawa NATS Auditions. Several other students have often been accepted into prestigious music schools, pursuing Bachelor of Music degrees for performance, Music Education, Music Therapy and Music Theatre.

Joseph began playing the piano at the early age of five, and even then showed encouraging signs of his burgeoning talent and musicality. He performed locally in Prince Edward County as an accompanist in various church and choral settings, which sparked his avid love for music all of kinds. Having completed the RCM piano examinations in his teenaged years, while consistently achieving first-class distinction honour marks, Joseph chose to pursue music at the post-secondary level under the tutelage of renowned Canadian pianist David Jalbert at the University of Ottawa. In addition to teaching privately, Joseph regularly performs in the Ottawa area.

Julie Chery is a passionate teacher, musician and artist born in Ottawa. She began playing Piano at the age of 5 years old. She completed a Bachelor of Music at Carleton University where she studied Piano and Vocals. Julie is an active performer in the Ottawa area in churches and as a session musician. She is also an artist, song writing and producing some of her very own tunes. She carries a passion for exploring genres of music ranging from blues, gospel, pop, kompas and many more.

Julie has 8 years of experience teaching private lessons. As a teacher, Julie believes in giving her students the tools they need to achieve their goals and to develop their own voice on their instrument. Kevin Lin is a 25 year old musician born in Ottawa. He started playing Flute in grade 6 and piano in grade 10. He completed a Bachelors of Music with Honours at Carleton University where he studied classical flute. During his studies, he performed solo as well as in chamber ensemble, choir, and a vocal jazz ensemble. He also travelled to Ghana to study West African Drumming. Exploring new genres and forms of music is a passion he carries.
Kevin has four years of experience teaching private lessons. As a teacher, Kevin always makes sure that students are given lessons that suit their needs, helping them progress and understand the material they are learning. He also strongly believes that a student's interest in music is a huge priority and makes effort to have them discover music they are passionate about.

Noel Campbell is a 22 year-old musician from Alexandria, Ontario. He studied cello with Therese Motard, Margaret Tobolwska, and finally Brian Manker at McGill University. He also studied piano with Marget Waymann, and has obtained performance diplomas from The Royal Conservatory of Music in both piano and cello. Noel has participated in many competitions over the years such as the Kiwanis, OMFA and CMC Festivals and he has attended Le Domaine Forget and Orford, two internationally recognized music academies. He is also a two-time grand prize winner of the Concours de talent de l’est Ontarien and was a finalist in the first season of Radio-Canada’s television show, Virtuose.
Noel has performed in several prestigious venues such as the SAM festival in Longueuil, the Mount Royal Chalet, le MIFO, la Place des Arts, the Bell Centre, Les Prix Gemeaux and has toured across Quebec and Ontario with Gregory Charles’ Virtuose en spectacle. He is also featured on the album Opus Neige, released in 2016. Currently, Noel performs as a part of Les 9 (cello), Steward’s Glen (piano) and the Hallions (bass, vocals). He also continues to pursue his passions in music as a teacher, composer and solo Performers.

Renee Dahn started playing the violin at the age of five and piano at the age of nine. Originally from Prince Edward Island, Renee grew up surrounded by the rich musical culture of the Maritimes. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she studied violin and viola.
Renee believes in cultivating interest and excitement about music through positive reinforcement and personally tailored lessons, which includes helping her students establish and accomplish goals, and creating a healthy relationship with the instrument.
She has performed throughout the Maritimes and southern Ontario, including with the Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra and as a soloist at the Indian River Festival’s Youth Showcase concert. In addition to teaching, Renee is an active performer in the Ottawa area in chamber groups and as a session musician.

Tayma Harb, a passionate music educator born in Syria, embarked on her on her musical journey at the early age of 4, when she first laid her hands on the piano. Her talent quickly flourished, leading to notable solos at the prestigious Solhi Alwadi Theater. In 2023, at the age of 21, Tayma immigrated to Canada, enriching the cultural tapestry with her musical expertise.
Her musical prowess extended beyond the piano, as she began playing the violin at the age of 7. Tayma showcased her violin virtuosity with solos at the Solhi Alwadi Theatre and performances alongside the Solhi Alwadi Orchestra at the Damascus Opera House. For the past 5 years, she has been imparting her knowledge and love for the violin to aspiring musicians.
At the age of 14, Tayma discovered her vocal talents and ventured into classical singing. She graced numerous choirs and earned solos at the Damascus Opera House as a soprano singer. Aside from the violin she has been sharing her vocal expertise as a dedicated teacher.
Tayma’s unwavering dedication to music education has left an indelible mark on the Syrian musical landscape, inspiring the next generation of musicians to explore their own creative paths.
