Ben Redant has worked previously in the world of professional theatre and music in Saskatchewan, performing and working on shows across Saskatchewan for such theatres as the Globe Theatre in Regina, Persephone Theatre and Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, and Souris Valley Theatre in Estevan. Ben performed in casts onstage and as a musician, musical directed, composed, and even worked as a scenic painter in the world of theatre before eventually finding his place and steady work as a music teacher at Long & McQuade.

After spending the better part of seven years teaching piano and voice for Long & McQuade, Ben worked as the Lesson Coordinator for much of 2023 before deciding he missed teaching too much, and has returned to the teaching side of things at Long & McQuade.
