COURSE ONE: Blues Guitar Group
Abridged version of Feb-Apr course. Appropriate for new students or current students who would like to continue.
Blues Guitar Group is a 6-week course that gives participants a chance to jam in a learning friendly environment as we also develop a 'blues repertoire.' Each week, Ralf Buschmeyer brings in new classic blues repertoire like 'The Thrill Is Gone' and 'Stormy Monday.' The rhythms, chords and scales needed to jam the song will be reviewed, and then everyone will have a chance to play rhythm and lead. Get your Blues together at the Blues Guitar Group.
Saturdays from 10 to 11am and 12noon to 1pm (May 9 - June 13/15) - FULL!

COURSE TWO: Rock Guitar Workshop
Abridged version of Feb-Apr course. Appropriate for new students who have not yet studied with Ralf.
The Rock Guitar Workshop will change how you play the guitar. This 6-week course looks at some of rock's legendary players like Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan and the elements of their playing that make them stand out. With local rock and blues pro Ralf Buschmeyer, participants will look at specific examples of each player to decode rock's greatest players' note choices, rhythms and articulations that define their playing. We'll look at specific licks as well as general ideas that we can turn into exercises and ways to create new licks. Rock like a legend with the Rock Guitar Workshop.
