Alfred Piano Workshop with Mike Springer - Calgary, AB

Long & McQuade Calgary South is proud to once again offer an Alfred summer piano workshop - in-store!

Long & McQuade would like to invite you to join us as we welcome Mike Springer from Alfred Music for a piano pedagogy workshop! The workshop will be held in-store in the Band & Print Department for your convenience. As usual, we will be offering a 25% discount on all print purchases and orders made by workshop attendees on the day of the workshop. 

Mike will present the newest Alfred Music piano products along with selections from his own library. Using his original music, he will demonstrate innovative ways to energize teachers’ piano studios, and will also highlight new publications from Alfred’s Premier Piano Course series. Mike has had an amazing 2016 piano event season and has quickly become one of our most requested clinicians.

At Mike’s workshop, you will explore how to:

• Bring solo performances to life with musical background accompaniments.
• Develop effective solutions for common teaching problems.
• Plan repertoire for your students with a fast-paced review of new music.
