This guitar plays smooth, easy, bright, soft, clear, loud, it can do it all. Best investment I ever made. And to look at the workmanship is flawless, fine job.

I bought this model J45 left handed in 2013, one of only fifty made that year. Gibson in my opinion make some of the best sounding guitars ever. The sound on mine is opening up and WoW, what a great sound. In my opinion the only thing I would ask Gibson to change is the way the pick guard covers the rosette and knocks off the symmetry of the look. They should just lower it to the line and it would be perfect.

Product ExperienceI've tried it

I'm new to guitars. Just started to learn how to play about 3 years ago. But I've learned to tell the difference a higher end guitar can make. That said, I don't claim to be any sort of connoisseur when it comes to guitars yet, but I do recognize quality. This guitar is beautiful and I'm so pleased to see it as a lefty model. I already own a Gibson Goldtop reissue and I'm very happy with that. Playing this J-45 was a wonderful experience for me especially as a lefty. I'm tempted to buy it. It's even more tempting because this the only store in BC that has this one at the moment.
