Description

The S1 was one of Buffet's last run of Paris-made professional saxophones prior to the relatively recent release of the Senzo Alto. It followed the Super Dynaction. Manufactured from 1975 to 1985 these rare horns are serious competition for Selmer's Mark VI tenors but at a lower price point - lucky you! The roller-less low C/Eb keys are genius as is the articulated low Bb key on the left hand pinky table.

This sax was well-loved and it bears some minor battle scars however nothing that wouldn't be expected given its use and age. It still has many years of playing enjoyment left in it and would make a great-playing professional vintage horn for any player. Comes in a ProTec case.
