Bass Clinic with Norm Stockton - Burlington, ON

Long & McQuade Burlington, along with Gallien-Krueger/MTD, is thrilled to present a clinic with Orange County-based bassist, Norm Stockton.

What is it? An extremely educational yet informal evening of lively music and highly practical suggestions related to developing and enhancing your effectiveness as a bassist.
 
What’s covered? The Grooving clinics are a mixture of technique, approach/concept, gear talk, tips and further elaboration on topics found in the Grooving for Heaven videos (in particular, the drum/bass relationship in an ensemble is examined in detail). Norm also demonstrates and explains a number of more advanced techniques as he performs tunes from Pondering the Sushi.
 
I’m not a "church musician"...can I still check it out? ABSOLUTELY! In a similar manner to the Grooving videos, these clinics are certainly geared toward the player in the contemporary worship environment; however, the vast majority of the topics covered are completely applicable to any musical situation, and many of the attendees at past events have not been worship players.
