Hans Verhoeven has performed and recorded with many of Canada’s finest musicians, including Phil Dwyer, Brad Turner, Don Thompson, PJ Perry, Ingrid Jensen, Christine Jensen, Dave Turner, Al McLean, Kevin Dean, Ross Taggart, Hugh Fraser, Mike Rudd, Brandi Disterheft, Laila Biali, Rafael Zaldivar, Ryan Oliver, Tina Jones, Joe Coughlin, Dee Daniels, Oliver Gannon, Jodi Proznik, Ken Lister, Tony Genge, Neil Swainson, Brian Dickinson, Andres Vial, Adrian Vedady, Ashley Wey, and many more. His musical theatre work includes performances with Broadway luminaries in Taiwan, the Chemainus Theatre Festival, and the Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular. Hans holds a Bachelor degree in Jazz Performance Drums from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Orchestral Percussion Performance from UVic, and he has performed as a percussionist with the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra. Hans plays and teaches in a wide array of styles, from Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Jazz, Funk, and Rock, to Classical, Folk, and Creative Music. Hans rate is $29 per half-hour.

Leon Durupt, a seasoned musician with decades of experience, offers piano, keyboard, songwriting, and basic recording lessons. Having taught since the 80s and having spent 27 years in China as a musician, musical director, and owner of the successful live music venue Terrace Shenzhen, Leon imparts valuable knowledge in technique, arrangement, stage performance, and sound. His rate is $29 per half hour.
