The Player is the smallest, most lightweight and simple version of the Analog Experience series from Arturia. It features a compact MIDI keyboard controller and light version of Analog factory software. This makes for a very easy-to-use and affordable package, including the very best of Arturia's signature sounds and a dedicated quality keyboard perfect for the mobile musician.
The rugged and lightweight keyboard make the controller a must for travel, while maintaining the profile of a high end metal and wood controller that can be used with any other software. The Player software, offering 1000 sounds, is an ideal way to get the most out of Arturia's TAE based synths without getting into the details and complications of sound design.

Bought this unit 3 days ago. Right off the bat the registration is buggy and now that Its finally registered I have to input the activation code every time I launch the synth software. If that isn't a big enough pain in the ass the Midi software does not communicate with the keyboard AT ALL which means that I cannot assign Midi channels to ANY of the knobs OR change the general Midi channel. The keyboard itself is nicely built and feels pretty good but if I can't assign the knobs or change the general Midi channel then what's the point? Oh! And L&M considers this software not hardware so good luck trying to return it when it doesn't work and Arturia doesn't seem to care at all.... Total, total bummer and complete waste of $200. Thanks for nothing Arturia.

Good product but horrible tech support. Works nice until you run into a problem, then good luck dealing with tech support.

I'm not so much of a knob twiddler, but I love great synth sounds. This is the best ever fast and easy setup to use the bundled software synth. No mapping, or MIDI learning. The keyboard controls just match up with the functions on screen. This keyboard feels better that any of the other sub $200 keyboards, and the plug-in sounds more realistic than other synths costing 3x as much. I would buy it again even just for the synth sounds!
