Fender Bullet Deluxe 1981

Description
*All original, from one owner who bought it in 1981.
The Fender Bullet was a short-lived replacement for the Musicmaster and Mustang models. Though it was produced in an offset double cutaway (similar to a Strat body) in its last year of production, the Fender Bullet was originally produced with a single cutaway and a Tele-style headstock.
It featured two single coil pickups and was available with a black pickguard.
Years of Production: 1981 - 1982.
The original Bullet used a Telecaster-style single cutaway body shape, and was available either as the Bullet, or the Bullet Deluxe. The standard Bullet featured an anodized steel pickguard that also served as the backstop of the top-load bridge. The Bullet Deluxe had a plastic pickguard with a standalone string through hardtail bridge. In late 1982, the body was redesigned to more closely resemble a Stratocaster, and was available in a variety of different pickup configurations.
