Frank included the famous shielding claw that gave vintage Jaguar pickups their zing, but crafted it from different materialnickel-silvershielding the electronics without altering the sound. This, along with a couple of other modifications, creates a more modern tone that's mid-heavy without getting "grunty" and articulate without being piercing.
