Same issue as the other reviewer. Heard a loud smash from my room. Went in to find the arm had collapsed and dropped my SM7B into my desk. Took it apart to find the internal spring/cable is very poorly made and snapped. Do not risk your microphone on this arm. It will break.

My third replacement has just stopped standing. The lower half of the arm loses it's ability to hold the rest of the stand up. It's as if a spring or whatever other stretchy material they use snaps, the stand just falls down. (which is not good for my expensive mic)
They have got to figure out why this is happening.
I like it very much...until it gets flaccid
