I bought this recently for an 18” crash. It’s been working very well and feels very sturdy and high quality. I think it’s also nice that you can fold the boom arm into the rest of the stand for easier storage or can be used as a regular non boom cymbal stand. 10/10 would recommend

I own three of these. They're perfect for gigging if you want a lightweight stand that's made well. I like that it converts from a boom to straight stand as well. Not the best stand if you're gonna be mounting heavy toms off of it but perfect for most other situations. Yamaha hardware is always functional and well made. The only thing that would make this stand perfect is if it had a gearless tilter but otherwise, it's a great stand for the price.

I was shocked to open the box and see what I thought was just a straight stand. Well made and can be used as a straight stand for those heavy 22 inch rides. However it is also a boom stand as the boom arm hides down inside when packaged and also when used as a straight stand.
