I don't use it as intended. Don't add to the tom mount for the bass drum as it vibrates through the bass (terrible for recording). BUT... add this to a bar system (Hexrack for example), or to a grabber arm rigged to a cymbal stand and you can add cymbals with isolation from the rest of the kit. Yamaha hidden booms and tilters are fantastic. Light for transport. Solid and stable for playing. Compare this item to Gibraltar grabber booms and IMO this is a better product.
