I tried these, as well as the standard 2.0mm version, both are great for bass. Thick enough that they won't bend, they have some grip texture, they have enough of a tip to be aggressive and they don't wear out super quickly. They stay in my hand super well and you won't lose them too quickly if your hands get sticky fast like mine. I also have oddly small hands for a bassist.
I play these on all my basses, Ibanez Sr405, Legator WR5F, Fender American Pro Pbass and my Dingwall NG3 in E0.
