I am a few months in to learning violin on an Eastman strings VL80 model that came with a kit including rosin. I switched to Hill dark rosin and instantly felt and heard a difference! It is a great price for the benefits it will provide and not to mention it will last a very long time.

This dark rosin has lasted me over 20 years. As a violin music teacher, I've experienced the lack of quality in numerous other rosin brands and this one is by far the best one out there. I recommend it to everyone.

I recently started viola and was looking for a dark rosin and found this and loved it gives a big and round tone and is affordable to boot.
