I use it mostly with a Hammond SK1 keyboard and it works fine, it is also a lot cheaper than the Hammond one.

At the suggestion of a forum I tried this with a Roland FP-2 instead of the Roland EV-5. Unfortunately, although the pedal is more sturdy, it didn't work with the Roland. It probably works fine with the Yamaha instruments it was designed for.
