Octafuzz... the only exact circuit copy of the legendary Tycobrahe Octavia. Cool Octave-Up sounds ala Hendrix "Band of Gypsies" and SRV's many live shows! Housed in a 14ga. steel enclosure with a beautiful Ranar-blue gloss powdercoat finish and Antique-white logo, this pedal is the reincarnation of the Tycobrahe.

"Edgy, tweaked, and haunted by strange overtones, it's distortion occupies a galaxy far, far away from modern crunchola fuzz."
-- Guitar Player Mag

Almost synth-like with its ring-modulation and "steel-drum" vibe... you will turn heads.

This pedal goes straight into my Silver Jubilee. It's a beast. I have several Fulltone pedals and they are built of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

Bought this to attain SRV, Hendrix, Gary Clark Jr and Kenny Wayne Shepard type lead tones and Smashing Pumpkin rhythms. Although a niche effect that you would not use all the time, it still was easy to set up. Partnered with a Marshall combo set semi clean and boosted with a Tube Screamer this pedal rocks. The fuzz is easy to get a good tone, the level is used to even the volume with the clean signal and the boost up at 3 oclock was plenty to get a grinding fuzz that did not seriously alter the tone of the amp. The octa feature comes out better when the boost is at 9 oclock or lower. You have to use the neck pickup and pick very cleanly as any choked notes won't ring out. Also when playing notes.very low below the fifth fret or very high ones, the effect is not pronounced. Despite a few tweaks to how you play, this pedal is a monster. I only rate the features a little lower as the variation of fuzz is not as detailed as other fuzz units like the Way Huge Swollen Pickle.

What he said. It is a wonderful, nasty beast. Hang on for the ride.

If you are looking for an accurate octave generator, move along, there's nothing to see here. This is truly an innovation of the past - no digital precision of today. A wild nasty beast. The Hendrix and Kenny Wayne Shepherd sound is right there. It's old school, and I expect this box to out-live me. Don't waste your time, buy FullTone anything. The quality and R and D are there and the bottom line is the sound will back up any claim. Have fun!
