This product cost less to purchase here at L & M than via the Toontrack site. Toontrack wanted more to begin with, plus their payment provider tacked on what seemed to be an extra credit card fee. The EZ Drummer 2 Songwriter Bundle here is the identical product to the one on the Toontrack site. It includes the basic EZDrummer 2 core program ( 32 & 64 bit ), plus all the Songwriter packs listed.
The delivery process was a bit clunky however. I made the purchase in the evening, and it took several hours for a download link and key to appear in my inbox. I sent an email to L & M support before bed, and by morning it had arrived. Perhaps it's something that had to be manually input on their end. I don't know.
Either way, while ou wait. If you don't already have a Toontrack account, get one from Toontrack because you'll need it. Once you have it you can use the Toontrack Install Manager and it will work fine.
AFTER entering the license key into the program that you were sent, it will display the associated products. It can then be used to download install authorize and update the software all from one interface. Backups can be made by copying all the .zip files to another drive.
The files can also be downloaded more manually by logging into your Toontrack account, which supposedly provides the usual "Save As" options, but I didn't go that route. Hope it helps someone else in the future.
My one complaint is that IMO Toontrack should provide a working demo version to evaluate before purchase ( like Reaper for example ). This would ease the feeling of insecurity that their no return or refund policy gives potential customers.
BTW I chose EZDrummer vs. Addictive Drummer mainly because of the sale pricing at the time.
